Mental Health First Aid - ^NEW!

Mental Health First Aid is a 12-hour course which teaches first aid skills for mental health crisis situations and the early stages of mental health problems.

Particpants will increase their confidence and understanding in:

• Assessing risk of self harm or harm to others.
• Identifying signs and symptoms of mental health disorders.
• Offering support, containment, information and referral

Particpants will view Mental Health DVDs, engage in small group discussion and receive comprehensive referral information.

Light lunch and refreshments provided.
