Counselling Skills for Professionals

An increasing number of professionals require advanced communication and basic counselling skills in their work or personal contacts with others.

This introductory one day workshop has been designed for professionals wishing to enhance skills such as rapport building, engaging challenging people into a productive working relationship, developing heightened listening and communication skills, generating clear goals for problem resolution and co-constructing meaningful solutions. It is ideal for people or who require counselling skills more informally in their work, or are in the early stages of entering a counselling role.

This practical workshop will assist participants to identify and engage people strengths in both their personoal and professional lives and manage the challenges associated with a counselling role.
