An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential and professional counselling service for employees. It enables employees to resolve work and personal issues that may affect their wellbeing and productivity.
ACCESS Programs recognises that employees are an organisation's greatest resource, and is committed to improving organisational wellbeing.
ACCESS Programs offer specialist counselling in a range of areas, such as gambling, domestic violence, parent/adolescent counselling , formal family mediation, and loss & grief, which means that employees and their families are more likely to have their needs met. The ACCESS Program offers such a variety of counselling, and all counsellors have a wealth of experience in their specialist areas.
ACCESS Programs also offer the referral option of Medicare Rebate counselling for EAP clients to continue counselling when this is indicated and appropriate. The flexibility to stay with the same counsellor can be very beneficial for the counselling process, and maintains the integrity of the therapy process.
ACCESS Programs understands that within organisations there are diverse groups of employees, as well as a diversity of individual employees. Differences can arise between departments or divisions within an organisation, and individual differences relating to race, culture or religious preference (to name a few) often exist. ACCESS Programs also has extensive experience with emergent diversities that result from organisational transition.
All ACCESS Programs services are tailored to ensure service provision is relevant and respectful to any and all diversities.
ACCESS Programs operates the largest network of Metropolitan and Regional Service Centres in the state. The network extends throughout Australia, with over 100 Service Centres and 1000 professionals around the country. Wherever employees are based, through the ACCESS program they'll receive service of the highest quality that is responsive, accessible and reliable in its delivery.
