Solution Focused Brief Therapy - Level One

This highly regarded workshop provides a thorough grounding in the principles and techniques of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). A practical and concrete framework for using SFBT from case commencement to case closure will be presented providing a strong grounding in the use of the approach or enabling participants to further enhance existing skills.

On completion of the workshop participants will have an understanding of the theoretical and practical foundations of SFBT. Using theory, case presentations, tape analysis, and practical exercises, participants will have the opportunity to develop
step-by-step strategies to empower clients toward goal and solution generation. This is a popular, dynamic and higly participatory course that is well regarded for its respectfulness to clients, use in time limited contexts and applicability to a wide range of presenting issues.
