Introduction to Dispute Resolution / Mediation

This workshop introduces participants to the theory, concepts and practical application of basic dispute resolution skills. It will provide a comprehensive model of the dispute resolution process and opportunities for participants to practice skills that are applicable to their own areas of work.

Introduction to Dispute Resolution is ideally suited to those who wish to deal effectively with people in conflict; including those working in human services, schools, law, coucil and government. Participants will be provided with an understanding of the concepts, processes and theory of dispute resolution, the role of the dispute resolution practitioner and a clear framework for dispute resolution.
